Sofia Darras is a self-taught artist with a background in Art History from Sewanee: The University of the South and a master's degree in Art & Museum Studies from Georgetown University. Her work is informed by a love for historical art movements, design, and collections of contemporary art and textiles.

Sofia's experience working in galleries and museums shapes her approach, blending historical influences with modern aesthetics through fine art,  pattern-making, and custom illustrations-- always with an eye for balancing intricate details with bold dynamic compositions.​

Sofia lives and works in her hometown of Chattanooga, TN with her husband Alex and dog, Sunny. Sofia's pieces are collected nationally, finding homes in private collections and commercial spaces. You can also find her artwork sold in stores across the southeast.
